Online Continuing Education

The IAFN is pleased to provide professional continuing education online! The Online Continuing Education Center (OCEC) is your access to forensic nursing continuing education on a variety of topics. 

Sexual Assault - Forensic and Clinical Management Virtual Practicum

This unique, comprehensive and cost-effective training tool helps you advance skills in all aspects of sexual assault forensic examinations, from initial meeting, to patient-centered medical examination and treatment, to proper collection and preparation of evidence, to pretrial and courtroom preparation.  Continuing education contact hours available.

Annual Scientific Assembly

Each year, IAFN Members gather to share research, continue their education, network and renew collaboration at the Annual Scientific Assembly. Over 500 Forensic Nurses and 30 exhibitors utilize this time together to create the connections. Upcoming dates and locations include:

  • October 19-22, 2011 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada
